b carb leaking

put in a new kit. opened fuel to carb and it just pours out intake. i have tried taping the needle to seat it. adjusting float. sshake the carb an i can faintly hear float "shaking". no gas in floats. driving me crazy. rear one statement about a vent being plugged. if that could be it -where would it be?

Is the needle seat good and tight and did you install a new gasket on it when you put it in. Also make sure the float does not hit any place in the float bowl it it will hang up and cause that

By chance you didn't forget the gasket under the seat , or you may have just got a bad needle and seat , it happens .

i agree with old, float might be rubbing the side of the carb body causing it no to seat, put some hose on the fuel fitting and turn it upside down, and blow into the hose, there should be no air going in, otherwise it has to come apart again....
