removing the hub and bull gear on my unstyled wc
there are 3 pins between the hub and gear.
there is a slot about 5/8 to 3/4 long. is this normal and can the pins be replaced

Hello
Are you saying the hub is coming loose from the drive gear (bull gear)? Never heard of such a thing but if that is what is happening my advice would be to find another hub. A good hub for a WC shouldn't be hard to find.

I didn"t understand your post, and forgot to check my shop book for a visual of the assy, but if you do replace it, be advised that you replace the outer hub with one from the same side of the tractor. That hub has a shallow curved groove to channel leaked oil back into the tractor. ie, left and right hubs have opposite spiral grooves.

Harry you are correct that the bull gear and hub are loose. my parts manual shows it as an assembly with 3 pins placed around the gear hub intersection with a 5/8 slot with the pin rolling in the slot. thank you for the reply. i have been away from the electronic devices for the past few days will try to post a photo.
