Sad to see museum close - it was certainly a sight to see. I only made it through once a couple of years ago.
I guess not enough interest from today's folks - not as entertaining as a computer to most. Hard to see it making enough in donations to pay the electric bill so he must have been paying out of pocket to keep everything up.
Looks like he did pretty well - most of prices seemed on the high side to me - but tractors were pretty much all #1 quality with most known provenance. And with him in background coaching auctioneer, I am sure it added value.
I say good for him - and THANKS for his efforts over the many years he collected and restored and maintained the museum.
