Large Allis Chalmers pull grader

Can anyone help me identify my large AC pull grader? Serial number 1A44. It has a single cylinder engine on it so that it has power control. What is it and how many were made? Thanks for your help!

Get a copy of Norm swinford's book, AC construction machinery and industrial equipment. Lots of pictures to compare. Or post a picture here.

I tried to upload a picture. Wouldn"t go for some reason. This pull grader has the large round tube for the back bone or frame of the grader. I have only seen that before on the motor graders. Does anyone know anything about this or how many were made?

Then it's gonna be either a 110 or 112, the last pull types made. Circa 1938-41. Serial #'s start at 1B1, and end at 1B200. If you can find the #, swinfords book lists the serial #'s by year.

If that A is really a B, then you have a '38.

The serial number is clearly 1A44. Plain as day.

DIYDAVE. check the photo ads. I put it up for sale and it sold same day. I left the ad up so people could see the picture. Its a nice early Allis grader, and a cool one at that!
