1939 B-- repaint or not?

I have a 1939 B in great shape except for a dented fuel tank. Runs excellent, tires are good. Has a front plow blade, belly mower, cultivators, tire chains. I have a replacement fuel tank. No longer have a need for this tractor. The gas tank does not leak- just a big dent on top. Should I replace the gas tank (the new one is black) and repaint everything, or advertise it in original condition?

you will not get the money back that you spend to repaint the tractor. Sell as is and let the next guy restore , install the tank, and paint as he wishes

If your trying to sell here, tell us where you are, what the tires look like, condition of the motor/ transmission. Does it have hydraulics / electic start / foot brakes... etc.

I have mixed views on painting . I painted my WD 45 and she shows good at the pulls and parades , but my old 1939 WC I pulled out of the bush turns heads as well . So, for me it just depends on the type of tractor it is . I also have a Minie M5 and an Olie Super 88 all original who both look good. I also think that the younger generation like them painted and us old guys like the worked look . L.O.L.
