Sell B AC equipment on Craiglist or for scrap?

After Dad died one of my brothers got his B-AC. He only took the bush hog with it and left the rest here. He said he didn't want the other stuff.

My brother sold the B before he died 2 years later.

I bought out the farm from my brothers. I have a lot of equipment for my Dads old B, a turn plow, harrow, cultivators, planters, ETC. All in good shape but has been sitting a long time. I'm sure they will need a lot of pulling apart, greasing, ETC.

I'm pretty sure that someone somewhere would like to have this equipment, but it's not in high demand because it isn't 3 PH.

My sister in law (deceased brothers wife) needs some money, long story, so I will not get in to that. (Their Kids)

Is there a forum somewhere to advertize them? I put them in the SC market bulletin and never got a call.

What do y'all think?

I'd avoid scrapping them at all costs. You can advertise on Craigslist, here, or the other AC site for free. I'm sure someone would be willing to buy the equipment. Location does make a difference.

I agree with Aaron, there are folks in the Allis Chalmers circles that would love to have those attachment.
The AC forum, allis chalmers dot com, would be a good place to check out and also as Aaron said you will find a place for adds here in the left column.
good luck and spend a little time finding a home for them.

The value of the items listed isn't huge, however none of it weighs a lot, so will bring enough money to pay for your fuel to haul it to the scrapyard and maybe minimum wage while loading it and hauling it.
I would be interested in seeing exactly what you have, as I own a couple of B's and am always looking for attachments and parts, and may be close enough to come after them.
You can email pictures to me if you have them

I will try to take pictures later today and post them. I may have to pull some the stuff out of the woods to get a better pic.Small saplings are growing around them.

The parts stored in the buildings should turn out OK.

I have a 2 disk turn plow, a disk harrow that disengages for pulling, I can't remember how many disks.

The planter itself is in pretty good shape but some of the stuff that goes with it need repair. I think I have most of it and I have parts from a CA two row that I think will work on it. Or if someone is looking for parts for a CA planter they may be interested in it.

There is an implement page on this site and people everywhere can see what u have post it with pictures and it will sell , there are a few people with $. Just my 2 pennies
