I would like to know if it is possible to remove the engine oil pan on an Allis-Chalmers 190 without removing the front axle.

No, The best way to get apart would be unbolt the front weight/pivot from the frame rails and roll forward. I have never had very good luck trying to pull the front axel pivot pin.

Thanks so much for answering me about the oil pan removal and about avoiding trying to get the pivot pin out. I didn't want to drop the axle if It was not necessary. Now I know I must do it and you gave me a better way of doing it.

you can do it I did mine last year had to pin out and jack the front end up did all the rod bearings and mains with motor still on tractor
