I have a D10 series three that used to be owned by the county, did Allis ever paint any of these industrial yellow? It is orange and white now but I think the college that owned before me repainted it. I am trying to sell it and have been asked this question and didnt know the answer

"Most" industrial tractors were painted yellow regardless of make.

That D10 is a handy little rig and if a true series III highly sought after.

I have one and wish I had another or a D12 just for grins.

What is the serial #? The industrial version had a heavier front axle. The series II industrial was replaced by the I-40 and painted yellow with a heavy duty box shaped grill, in 1966 the I-40 was replaced by the I-400.

Factory used a yellow primer on the castings. Depending on the county, they could specify the color as yellow, or the regular orange scheme. If they want to pick about paint color, you can always say at least it ain't green...

where at how much and do you have any pictures? i have 3 of them and they are very handy garden tractors
