Model D grader clutch

The clutch on my Model D grader quit dis-engaging without any warning. I adjusted the free play which was only slightly out but it will still not dis-engage.
Anyone got an idea what it might be? --- Anything else to check BEFORE pulling the engine?

Could be a number of problems. Clutch disk could be stuck the the flywheel or pressure plate due to rust if you do not use it say once a week or more. Or the disk has the clutch materiel coming off and that will cause that problem also. Try blocking the clutch pedal down when parked and if you can take it for a drive holding he pedal down while you drive it

Will Try your suggestion ----- THANKS! (can you tell I really don't want to pull the motor!)

Little more info for you, I had graded a 1/2 mile fence line a day or two before, did a little more dozing on it then took the grader back and went over it again. It stuck on the way BACK to the house so there should not have been any current rust however before grading the fence line it sat for about a month or a little longer.

Throw out bearing may have gone bad than and is sticking out has fell apart so it does not push the fingers down enough to release or also may have eaten the fingers them self

You most likely will have to pull the engine. Shouldn't be that difficult. Not as bad as splitting a tractor.
