AC snapcouple corn drill

Was looking at the west ky craigslist farm section.
A snap couple corn drill has been posted for sale.

They do not come up often.

No it's not mine, but I did own one once and I do know there is not one on every used equipment dealers lot.

Hope one of you gets it, if you want one.

They were made into the 50s. Found mine at an auction for $135. Son uses it, it"s been set at 30 and 36 inch rows. Hitch could be used with old WD drawbar or Snap Coupler. Saw a 4 row once, two units coupled with factory hitch. Book shows they fit multiple tractors, C, CA, WD, etc.

We had a 2 row lister that was ran by a small tire in the middle between and in front of the boxes. Anyone have a picture of them and what year were they made. We had 2 but I think the first one was homemade as it had john deere boxes and a steel binder wheel for a drive and the better one had a 12" tractor-tred implement tire and hooked on a wd with the lift arms&clevis under the tractor. Ours got cut up but parts still remain for unknown reasons.cleddy

Thanks- Thats what we had but when the old 4-roll pull type John Deere came that was the end of 2 Roll Lister. I don't suspose I could even give these old parts away.Them deep rows-ridges and then cultivating them over on the rows are just a thing of the past.
