getting ready to install a 3 point on a D17, anyone have a pic of the top link hook up,...I'm wondering if I should use 1/2 inch plate or would 3/8 be heavy enough,..any thoughts on whether it would be heavy enough to put a backhoe on..

when I first got my series 4 it had 2 pieces of heavy angle iron cut and drilled. I found a top link bracket for a 190XT and it bolted right up. I don't know if the earlier series have the same holes.

I built my own 3 point on the D-17 we have. It has a plate bolted up close to the top of the rear end for the center link. Sorry no pictures of it and right now it is way in the back of the machine shed so hard o get to it

I have the top plate to hook the top link on.
It bolts under the seat and on top of transmission.
Its ootside under the snow now, can't git picture till I find it.
If yo are interested, my email is open
