I have to replace the rear rims on my D14. It has 26" spin out rims. For what i use it for I don't need this type of rim. What other type and size (28" or even 30") Rims would work?

Thanks Howard

I think wheels off a wd or wd45 will fit.
they will be 28" wheels.

I never understood why AC put 26" tires on D14???

if you go with a different set of wheels then new tires will be required.

I guess as long as the tires are not any taller then it would not affect the power of the tractor.

speeds would be different

can your old wheels be welded up, this is done many times to save old wheels.

My d17 has wheels from a combine on it they are16.9-26 we
bought it that way, works for me because I don't adjust width
any way. I think thre are several gleaner, jd, Oliver models
that will fit. Maybe some day I'll put the spin out 28" on it like it
should have....or maybe not!

If you went to the 28s you would need different centers since the 26 inch ones are smaller and will not bolt up to 28 inch rims. If you have the right centers there are a number of loop type rims that would work

I also do not row crop, and probably don't need the spin out rims, on my WD45 or my CA. I do run them all the way out, with the du-al loader on the WD45 and both tractors get narrowed up for winter storage, the C and CA fit nicely side by side in a 20 ft. bay, and likewise, the WD45 and B use a 20 ft. bay, with the tires narrowed.

I replaced the rusted out spin outs on my D-14 loader with a set of used combine 28 wheels and tires and other than a bigger step up, they work fine.
