I am looking for the original color for the wheels on an early unstyled WC

My personal opinion is they were black. I've seen black and Persian Orange on them and both look fine to me.

Had a 37 which never had been repainted, pulled wheels and there was red paint about the shade of IH. Came across this also reading something. Might not sound right but that is what I found.
