5040 hydraulics

I have a tiny hole/crack in the hydraulic line that goes from the pump at the front of the tractor to the controls under the seat. It rubbed against the bottom of the engine and wore through.

Dealer says part not available per AGCO.
Any ideas on aftermarket, used, or repair kit?

I will try to remove it and braze it when the weather warms here in Wisconsin. Anyone who has removed this line have helpful hints? Looks to be a heckuva job to get it out from behind and around everything.

Thanks

Ken

My Ford backhoe has some complicated power steering lines that are bent steel and hose assemblies. One gave out at the hose and/or junction part. Not wanting to replace the whole thing- dealer made me up a hose with compression ends. They clamped onto the steel line and so far, so good. I don't know if they would hold regular hyd. system pressure though. And the compression ends have to fit perfectly- in other words- your lines are probably metric!
But before I went cutting a section out of it, I would try to repair it as you suggest.
If that fails, I suppose you could replace any amount of the line with hose, by brazing fittings onto the ends of where you might cut the line.

Thanks for your replies. I thought of compression fittings. I assume the line is a metric size of some sort. It will be a challenge no matter what the solution.
