Hi guys, my name is Bryce and I am usually in the Farmall, Ferguson, or JD forums, but today I am taking a walk on the wild side! :) I am a 15 year old Eagle Scout, and I have a few questions about one of my recent additions to my collection. Here is what I bought:

AC - WC after market wide front, stuck engine,no rear wheels, but it has a complete set of AARPs Half tracks on it.

AC - WC narrow front, one good tire and rim, supposed to run, but haven't investigated, nice overall.

I bought all of this for $400, was that okay? I think that around here that is about what you could have gotten out of them for scrap, but some guys have told me that the AARPs are pretty valuable, so I figured I would save em! Heres a picture. Let me know what you guys think, I would love any info about the tracks, or AC's for that matter! Thanks, Bryce

I sold a set of ARPS half tracks for a Farmall C for $400, they were mostly complete but needed a tire and some freeing up. If you are looking up about your half tracks online ARPS is the company name, the AARP is an organization for retired people but I can't think exactly what the full name is.

I have a set on my WD45 and an extra set that I'm not sure what they fit. You got a good deal. The WC's are worth scrap but not the tracks. Do the brackets look factory for the WC or did someone cut and weld to make them fit? Are the tracks all steel or the type with rubber on them? Most of the ARPs tracks were on Fords/Fergusons so it's good to see them on other brands.

AARPS was out of New Holstein Wi. AARPS is no more but there is a company there that bought them out a long time ago. I contacted them about 10 years back and they couldn't help me. Except with a manual.

My SM had a set of ARPS half-tracks with it, but my grandpa took one side and the arms for his 300 ute, then never brought them back, he died, and they got sold (before I realized he had them). I've still got the axle brackets for them, thinking I might try to make a set with some flat bar and log chain some day.
