What year model # is this AC tractor AC combine?

I've got this picture of my uncle cutting wheat in 1945 on my grandfather's farm. My dad thinks by then my uncle had his Allis Chalmers WD and Allis Chalmers combine that cut a 5 foot swath. My dad is ninety years old and I just ran across these pictures after moving him into an assisted living facility. If I could have asked him these questions two years ago he probably could have answered my questions.
Thanks for any help,
Gary

It is not the early model 60 as they had a different unloading system. Do not know when they changed over to auger unload but the 43 & 44 that we had was auger. And tractor being unstyled would be 34 to 38 as 39 was styled.

Thanks for your help, I wish I had a better picture. I'm asking for pictures from the rest of the family and maybe they will have a better picture.

Definitely an unstyled WC.....has the side exhaust, modernized with the under hood muffler that was on the styled tractors. Tractor also has the brackets for mounted cultivator. Combine is a Model 60 All Crop.

I would say from the hood we could agree it has to be a 1936-1938 tractor. A good pic of the wheels might narrow it down closer.

I believe the tractor has to be a '36. It has the streamlined corners at the front of the hood and the rear gas tank mountings curve in at the top. The front and back mountings were parallel on the '37 and '38. Don't know about the combine.

Tractor is 36-38 because of the curved hood. Combine is an All-Crop 60, 1940 or newer because it has the auger type unloader. A very popular combination for Allis-Chalmers.

That is what I did not know when they went to the auger but that is about the time I thought.

JMS/.MN,
Thanks for your help on the tractor and combine too. This week is my first week at using the forums to get information and I have really been surprised at how fast and helpful everyone has been at getting information back to me.
