6 row front mount cultivator

Any idea where I could find a 6 row or 4 row front mount cultivated for a wide front d17? If I understand correctly I can bolt on extra rows to the 4 row? Thanks Steve 319 480 3032

I do not know anything about that particular cultivator, that said. Generaly you cannot bolt on extra units on any cultivator just due to the width. 4 row @ 40" = 160", 6 row @ 30" = 180", see what I mean? If you are going to a 26" row spacing then it would fit in total length avaible but then on a front mount could you narrow the center ynit that much. Depending on way cultivator is made and this would apply to both front and rear mount you might be able to weld on an extension. Easier on rear mount or you might be able to cut frame apart and weld in an extension.

I had a 4 row FM on a D17 in the seventies. I never heard of a bolt on extension, and due to the frame construction, it would be difficult to make it sturdy. It used a pipe/hand lift to swing front sections into place. I saw one at a neighbor"s place two years ago but it likely went to scrap then.
