ac 66 with 2 row corn head

I know that the models 72 and 90 had corn heads available. Never saw a 66 with one. Not saying there wasn't any made, just never seen one

If I remember correctly, JMS/MN has one with a two row corn head. I'm sure he'll tell you more about it if I am correct in his having one.

Yes- I have a 66 with 2row head. First one I ever saw was close to M Nut, maybe 8 years ago. (Ron Gould, collector at Milaca). Never knew they existed before that. Pics are on other puter, and photoshop is a dickens to deal with, so IDK about posting the pic now.

I found mine in N MN, near Kelliher, where little corn is raised. Owner"s Dad parked it in a fenceline in 1972, had used it just a few years for his dairy herd.

There were 312,000 All Crop harvesters made that could take this head....60, 66, 72, and 90 models. 1150 corn heads made, so yes, a rarity.

I have yet to power it up, but it is in good shape, a couple roller chains rusted tight and two elevator bottoms rusted through. Some unloading auger damage. Otherwise, looks very good and useable. Taken it to a few shows, always popular.

Now I know. Farmed with Dad's 66 when I had FFA work book projects. Combined wheat and soybeans with it. Picked corn with a one row New Idea picker

Mine has the factory extension on the clean grain elevator.....adds maybe 2 feet to the 25 bushel bin on the "Big Bin" 66. Still not much capacity. PO also extended the front of the factory bin.

This is an old photo of ours at work in southern MN. We just play with it once in a while because JMS is right about the rarity, hard to find parts, and lack of capacity. They were never designed for 200 bu/ac. corn.
