Series I, D17 paint scheme ?

I posted this question in the Paint Section and got several good answers, but am still trying to nail things down.
I have a Series 1, D17 that I am redoing. The serial # says it was made in 1958, it is a wide front end model. Trying to find out for sure what color the grill and tire rims should be. The pictures I have seen of Series 1 D17's have varied from having black or cream or orange grills. The tire rims have varied from orange to cream to silver/orange colors.
I would like to get this painted as close to original as possible. Thanks for any help.

Per Norm Swinfords "Allis Chalmers Farm Equipment 1914-1985", "The 1957-59 D14 and D17 were painted Persian orange with orange wheels and silver decals. D14 Serial No. 1001-18230, D17 Serial No 1001-23363." Then "in 1959, the D14 (Serial No. 19001) and the D17 (Serial No. 24001) received a revised radiator grill with a black border and bars" to coincide with the D10 and D12 production. 1960 saw the introduction of Persian orange No. 2, and "cream-colored wheels, grill, steering wheel and name plates."
For the D17, cream color began at 32001.
Pages 86-88.

Personal opinion, use this, then if anyone gives you static over your choices, tell 'em to go buy you a copy of Norm's book. Sadly this book is not easy to come by-I was able to barrow one through Inter- library loan and scan it using a library book scanner-Sadly I did a ok job at best of it-lots of images where you can see my hands.

I've also included a pick of Norm Swinford's Sn and production number table for the D17-Very fun numbers that I've never seen anywhere else.
