WC manifolds

Just wondering when the transition from the angled exhaust to the straight up through the hood (WD style)went into production. Also, did they stay with the angled style for the all fuel manifold? Thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone!

I think it was in 1939 when the tractors were styled. You will see some unstyled with straight up exhaust but these were cases of conversions when either the manifold needed replaced or maybe in the case of a proper gasoline conversion.

All WC's with multi-fuel engines had the side manifold, Gas motors manifold changed at the below serial number. Even many of the Kero engines got changed to the up manifold after they were no longer offered by Allis.

Dad"s styled (believe 1939) had the side exhaust manifold and a straight pipe. I remember the sn as 77717. Had 13-24 inch rears.

If it's any help , I have a 1939 wc and I'm sure it's the first change over in style like the wd , my pipe goes straight up through the hood
