FH wheels

HC312 is a hub designation used for front wheels on Massey Harris 12-20 and Pacemaker. Actual Wheel designation would be F225 (16x4) or F267 (20x4.50).
 
A friend bought it was told it was for Massy Harris and it did not fit. 16x4 now trying to find what it is for. oldiron29
 
HC-312 or HC-312A should fit a Pacemaker or 12-20 - the 16x4 should be an F-225 wheel. I don't have any specific info, but most of the front wheels in my listing are spoked wheels that attach directly to axle shaft as opposed to the 5 or 6 bolt hub attachments on later tractors. Its not a generic MH front rim that fits all MH. The listing I have is from old F&H catalog and shows 8 different F&H front wheels most with different hubs as of 1939/40. Which Massey does he have - I may be able to find F&H listing for it but by about 1940, I think MH was using more modern bolt on front wheels.
 
ACEd,I beleive he had had a challenger? The wheels were never installed he said that they would not fit. He has them for sale. They look so close to Farmall wheels I was hoping I could use them. oldiron29
 
Challenger wants HC-258 / F-195 or W-273-M / F-361-H both 16x4 - don't know what difference is but suspect the W prefix is odd - almost all hub prefixes are HC. FYI - Farmall shows 26 different front wheels depending on application - which Farmall?

Wide front. That would be correct for 16".

F12 and F14 wide front should be F-111 wheel 4.5x16 with SS-366 hub
