wd-45 oil pan gasket

I am replacing my oil pan gaskets and my kit came with 2 different end gaskets.
Which ones do I use? The longer wider ones or the narrower shorter ones?

I want to say the shorter narrower ones, but I don't remember
for sure. I do recall that the correct one almost seams too long,
but once the pan bolts are in it compress a lot and fits/works.
Which ever is wrong for the 45 is sure to be right for a D17.

I used the longer narrow ones and I no longer have an oil leak!
