Wd45 hydraulics

The hydraulic on my wd45 is stuck with the rams fully extended . I rebuilt the pump , put it back in started the tractor with the lever in the down position the rams automatically raised . What could be the problem?

Have you made sure all linkages are correctly attached and properly adjusted.?

Do you have a book with the pump broken down piece by piece. If its put together right it should work. All the linkage has to be adjusted correctly from the pump to the quadrant also.

Make shure the draft control lever from front of draw bar to outside of pump is connected RENE'

When you rebuilt the pump did you rebuild the hold positiin valve too? My WD did the same thing until i rebuilt the valve. The rebuild kit was less than $20 from AGCO.

The hold valve was rebuilt also. When you adjust the linkage do you pull the big rod up just till you feel resistance or till you can't pull it any more?
