I found a u and a uc for sale recently the u is ser# 8628 engine loose but has patched block 1 rear wheel is rough. the uc is serial# 1666 engine loose and looks complete. I am looking for ideas as to value I would probably keep one and sell the other any suggestions??

They are both 1935 models and both use the same UM Allis motor. Personal preferance I would keep the U and get rid of the UC, it's a nicer tractor to drive and haul.
 
According to this site those models are valued at any where from $850-$8,000. Personally since they are complete and loose, but none running I would say $1,000-$1,500 for the UC and $2,000-$3,000 for the U. Out of curiousity, where are they located?
 
No comparison in values to a UC High Crop - thats a whole different animal as to rareity and collector appeal. To a High Crop collector, a correctly restored UCHC at $6100 may be a good deal, but I would not use that as a price reference for a basic U or UC.
