D17 rims question

What combine rims will bolt directly onto a D17? My FIL bought some (fairly cheap) that bolted directly onto his D17. The one I'm looking at buying also has rotted out rims and I thought I might try the same solution.

It seems like the you could buy a whole Gleener F (if that is the size) for the price of one power slide rim - let alone two rims and the tires. And usually those tires are in pretty good shape from being stored inside.

That's the information I was looking for. The one's my FIL put on one of his D17s actually looks like it belongs. It worked for him because he didn't do any row crop work with the tractor. I can take the old rims off and patch them when I get around to it.

I just need to be on the lookout for an old E or K that's being parted out.

I have a pair of combine rims that came off of a D-17 for sale. The tires are not good. $100 for the pair. They are 26 inch. Contact me if you are interested.

Last year i put 14.9-26" wheels and tires off of a case combine on my wd. Tires stand and 2 inches taller than the old 28" powershift wheels and tires.

A new power shift rim will be well under $400. No way you"ll find a Model F combine for that price. No way a standard 26 inch tire is going to match the height of a 28 inch, unless it"s a rice tire- then just maybe. 26 inch tire will give you a lower ground speed.
