Connecting rod bearing for Allis Chalmers C

I need a set of Connecting rod Bearings For a Allis Chalmers Model C, They make four different sizes, can anybody tell me how to find out which size I need to order.
Thanks.

The only SURE way is to measure the diameter of the journals with a micrometer. Check them for wear and "out of round".

That being said, if the engine is in good shape, and was in good running order, look closely at the outside of the old bearing inserts. They will be stamped with a part number, then "STD" for "standard" ".010 US", meaning ".010" UNDERSIZE" (or .020. .030, etc.).

Once you have the new bearings use plastigage to check oil clearance ofter installation.

As Bob said you have to measure and if you do not have the equipment and or knowledge to do it you need to find a machine shop that will do it for you. Also if it is a used crank you need to do that just to be sure it is still good as is or if it needs turned
