model B wont start

I ran my 1939 Model B out of gas...after sitting several years i got her running great with a little tlc...it ran out of gas and now won't start...any suggestions? I'm guessing debris was sucked into the carb but I'm not sure what to do...thanks Jeff

Jeff, I got some sediment (rust) in mine a couple of weeks ago. You should have a drain on the engine side of the carb on the bottom. Open that drain and flush it after you have put a couple gallons in your tank, also run your needle adjuster all the way in on your jet. Make sure you count the turns and bring it back out (do this a couple times). Give that a try and if it is a hand crank, have somebody give you a tow to fire her up. Good luck

Make sure your sediment bowl is full, if there's an air gap, it won't start. you need to losen glass bowl and let it fill nad then retighten
