WD Left Brake Pedal Goes To Far Back

Customer bought in a WD needed left brakes replaced and the left pedal goes to far back so that you can't get your foot on the pedal. I replaced the brake pads on left side and everything is right on the brake assembly, but when I hooked up the pedal and spring for the pedal. it still moves to far back. What should I be looking for.

By too far back, do you mean to the rear of the tractor? Foot rest plate missing? Brake pedals should back up to it.

Tractor went back home today, but I put another plate on for the left brake to come against. Worked good. The left pedal is on the inside of the frame and right pedal is on the outside of the frame with the foot-rest.

if its a wd the foot plate supports both pedals not just one sounds like somebody cut something off

the early WD's had a peg that screwed in the trans housing to keep the inside brake from falling to the rear, I got one that this Is broke off and left petal falls back farther than the right, this was changed with later WD's with a toe plate that extended over the frame rail to keep the pedals even

Thanks, I bet you are right about the peg being broken off. I just bolted a piece of flat iron on top of the frame to keep the pedal from coming back to far. The customer picked the tractor up already so I can not go look. I do know that it was an early Wd.
