Ok, thanks for all your help. Now here is what I found. Yes, it does have the bolt on plate on the right side of the motor. It has a new radiator and the water pump is yellow instead of orange. So is the dist. and governor, guess they were off a different tractor or they were rebuilt and painted the wrong color. It has shutters on the radiator and a little crank out the right side of radiator shell. I tried to turn the shutters open but it just spins around like it's not connected. I ran the motor for about 1/2 an hour and got her up to temp but I forgot to look at the shutters. The rims are in need of repair from rust but I think I can fix them. I shook the front of the tractor side to side and front end seems to be tight, no play or slop at all. The back tires are fair condition and have lots of tread. It does seem to steer hard. The hand clutch works and so does the PTO. The foot clutch worked ok just driving it around and none of the gears had any noise. I didn't check the pedal for side to side play. After running for half an hour it showed about 180 degrees and more then half on the oil pressure gage. In general it seemed to run fair, just a little rough at first but it smoothed out as it warmed up. So, I guess it's a WD and not a WD45. It has had work but that's not unusual for it's age. I have a pretty good feeling about it. Is there much difference between WD and WD45? I'm wanting to pull a 3 bottom plow. Will this tractor handle it? The hyd. lift was smooth and quick. It has an AC blade on the hitch and it looks heavy duty and in real good shape.
