engine info wc ac speed patrol

on the tag located on right side of frame of my wc ac speed patrol is serial # 1e-1043 ? this is a 1946 I think. the engine has been changed what do I have? right side of engine cast #u3019-31 on left side stamped # 212366_ _. need some parts+ need other parts for speed patrol, including blade assembly

The WC/WD/WD45 engine will all 3 bolt right into the W speed Patrol. When I first got my W Speed Patrol it had a WD45 engine in it but I have since took it out and put in the correct engine.

You are correct tractor is 1946. Engine s/n makes it late 1948 or more likely early 1949 from a WD.

Most likely if you look really close you will find WD prefix and GA suffix where s/n is stamped on left side of block behind carb. It could also be K suffix but GA most common. GA would have originally been a 5.5:1 Compression.

About mid 1951, suffix changed to PA indicating 5.7:1 CR. But by now there is no telling whats inside - could even have WD45 parts

I did find wd prefix and ga suffix, so I guess I have a wd engine. it runs ok so I will keep it on tractor for now. I need thermostat housing and adj fan pully,
