WD45 Rear Wheel Removal

I have a flat rear tire on WD45..Rim is shot, so to repair tire I need to replace rim..Cant get it off !?!? Tried to loosen ecentric cam bolts (manual says this is first step) they are frozen solid after 60 years and I fear I will break them...Is there a better way, or do I keep using PB blaster and pray???

Remove the bolts holding the adjuster assemblies to the wheel center. The wheel center will then come off the outer rim and you will be in a better position to work on freeing up the cam bolts.

I might add, once the center rim is free the adjuster locks will fall off, (do not loose the u shaped spacer on each one), you can then throw them in a bucket of solvent for a week or how ever long it takes to free them up. Take them out every few days and work them over, may take some serious soaking but they will come loose.

Thank you for the responses...This sounds like a better plan than fighting with the adjuster assemblies...(and those nuts appear to be easier to work on)..Thanks...Dan

Unbolt the wheel from the hub on the tractor before you try to remove the rim from the center. once all the adjuster bolts are out, lean the wheel up against a tree, fence post, wall, etc and one or two good whacks with a sledge hammer will knock the center out.

I use a hot wrench! turn the nuts cherry red, then quench with cold water, usually turn off with little effort.
