1937 w/c 210 de. in radiator

it boils after 15 mi. with radiator cap off. we used a candy thermo to check it there had been a mouse house in radiator & in block. I think I got all of the nest out. the w/c had not been run in years. I have flushed 3 times with milk stone remover, stuff from parts house 4 times, vinegar 2 time. getting just dirty brown water out. took off water pump looks ok. there is no thermo in it. will get to farm next thurs.

Put a thermostat in it. Water is going through the rad too fast to cool. I've read it here several times that an open or missing t-stat will cause an overheat.

Pretty sure they sell them here, but any good auto parts store can probably look one up. Goes on the right side of the top of the head. There should be a housing at the engine side of the upper rad hose. Unless you have an early WC in which case, you can buy that housing from a parts guy. Probably have one floating around here myself.
