A few months ago Justin SE Iowa posted some pictures of hydraulics added to a WD45 to tilt the bucket. I would like to do the same to my WD45. Unfortunately I couldn't reply to the original post. I would like to know what cylinders and control valve you used to make yours work.

That depends on your hyd source. If it"s the original AC system, you need high pressure, low volume cyl. If an add-on, usually low pressure, high volume, using an auxiliary hyd pump and reservoir and valves.

AC made a front pump for the Allis loaders, welded a plate to the front pulley to run the pump, had it's own control box, and used hi pressure cylinders.

I bought 3000psi cylinders from Northern Tool. I bought a 3 spool valve from another company but don't remember where! I plumbed the "in" on the valve from the lines that went to the rear lift cylinders. Tee'd them into one line. Then the "out" of the valve to the dipstick for the hydraulic fill. I drilled and taped into the side of it with 3/8 npt. Then the first valve went to the lift, second went to the dump bucket, and the third to the rear lift arms. For this all to work the hydraulic lever on the steering column has to be up to "turn" the pump on. Its not as nice as a live system but it works. I can take specific pictures of something if you want. Any more questions please ask.

Hi Justin, can you email me with some more (better) pictures? And see if you can find where you got the three way?
Thanks, Ted
