No one manual cover it all and most leave out things you should know. So if you want the best of all worlds you need as many as you can find and then they still have info missing. I collect manuals for just that reason. Most manuals are geared for a person who know what he is doing so to find one that is for a novice well it is not there and no not saying your a novice. Sort of like one manual I have that came from the army and it is pretty much a manual for one who knows nothing about any thing

No old, I definitely am a novice when it comes to this stuff. I can drive my WD and use my handful of implements, but when it comes to working on her, the best I've done to date is replace the waterpump. I wish there was a manual that shows all the parts and pieces and gives detailed instructions on how it all works and all that.

Ya that is why the manual are called shop manuals they are made for a guy who works in a shop LOL. Me I have been playing with engines and all since I was 12 or so when my dad gave me my first lawn mower. I also learned what I know by the road of hard knocks so I have the scares to prove it. So buy as many manulas as you can afford and hope they give you enough info to get the job done
