Best shop/repair manual for a WD?

I have been working on my tractor enough that my operator/owners manual just isn't cutting it for what needs done these days. So I'm wondering what is the best shop/repair manual I can get that covers the WD?

For my WD45 there is the owner"s manual, service manual (which expands on things in the owner"s manual) & the I&T manual. I recommend all 3 as I just reassembled my tractor and at times we needed one or the other to show us what was going on.

Sounds like the original manual is the way to go. Things I have on deck that I need the book for:

Near Term (within the next year):
-Front Pedistal (narrow front) work
-Head Gasket Replacement

Long Term (within the next... 5 years?):
-Clutch Replacement
-Possible rear wheel bearings? (unsure if it's an issue or not at this point)

No one manual cover it all and most leave out things you should know. So if you want the best of all worlds you need as many as you can find and then they still have info missing. I collect manuals for just that reason. Most manuals are geared for a person who know what he is doing so to find one that is for a novice well it is not there and no not saying your a novice. Sort of like one manual I have that came from the army and it is pretty much a manual for one who knows nothing about any thing

No old, I definitely am a novice when it comes to this stuff. I can drive my WD and use my handful of implements, but when it comes to working on her, the best I've done to date is replace the waterpump. I wish there was a manual that shows all the parts and pieces and gives detailed instructions on how it all works and all that.

Ya that is why the manual are called shop manuals they are made for a guy who works in a shop LOL. Me I have been playing with engines and all since I was 12 or so when my dad gave me my first lawn mower. I also learned what I know by the road of hard knocks so I have the scares to prove it. So buy as many manulas as you can afford and hope they give you enough info to get the job done

As others have said the original AC manual, is best, and bought
from an Agco dealer is often cheaper than a reprint. I don't like I&T
manuals, they tend to have too many split paragraphs, and "but
first's".

And several models wadded into one book, with confused pictures and paragraphs. And pertinent information just plain left out.
When I worked at an AC dealer from 72-84 we had all the I&T manuals for everything else. That's when I developed my dislike for them. They had just enough info. to get you into trouble. More than once we had to get OEM info. from another dealer to figure something out.

I ordered a kit I guess for the front end of my WD. Bearing. top seal, lower seal, washer and spacer come to about 72 dollars.
