Help - D Grader Shift Pattern

Anyone who still has shift pattern decal or who knows shift pattern for D or DD grader - I would be much abliged if you could share. I just drug home a stuck 1951 D grader and need help. Thx Ed

Right hand side: forward slot is 1st, back slot is reverse. Left side: forward slot is 2nd, back slot is 3rd or it may be the opposite as my manuals don't show the shift pattern and I haven't driven mine for a couple of months. The centre slot is 4th. What is stuck, engine, transmission? The engine is a common Allis farm tractor engine.

Originally everything was stuck - but managed to free clutch so now it rolls. Original 1951 engine has been replaced with a fairly late D17 engine with Z suffix - anyone know D17 suffixes? Engine is frozen - rust and water in #3 cyl. Trans seems to shift but with no engine, don"t know what else is wrong. Has Power Steering (added?) but no tilt on front wheels. Tie Rod and Left Axle Pin have issues. Otherwise seems to be a pretty good old machine - no cracks in the tube.
