8.5 x 30 tires AC G

Guys, got a customer looking for a good-excellent pair of 8-5 x 30 tires for his G. Anyone out there with some? Miller tire don't have. We're located in Colorado. Thanks

Any reason they have to be 8.5-30? You say a pair so your not matching to one you allready have, so why not go with the 7.2-30 which from what Ive read here is the closest avaible to the G s factory old tire size 6-30?
My understanding is original rims will take the 7.2-30 fine.
Miller lists the 7.2-30, and someone a few weeks ago said he ordered 7.2-30's from his local goodyear dealer.

I'll mention it to the customer about 7-2's. He requested 8-5's. That maybe the size that's on the tractor now.

Allen about the only place that has them is a Goodyear farm tire store. Goodyear only runs a few every year.

Doubt that you will find 8.5-30 - don"t think that size ever existed.

You may find some old stock 8.3-30 but I doubt even that.

Info I have indicates 7.2-30 (replacing original 7-30) is best option - currently made by Titan who bought out Goodyear Farm Tire business - still says Goodyear but made by Titan now.

I may need to double check, but my recollection is original G options were 6-30 (now 6.2-30) or 7-30 (now 7.2-30). I don"t think they ever had 8-30 (now 8.3-30) as an option.
