My 1940 B after detailing it.

Spent a vacation day washing and polishing my 1940 Model B. Way more fun than a day at work and way more fun than detailing a car. I think that it is kind of cool that I live only around 30 miles from where this little tractor was built.

Living that close, you better be planning on the parade in 2014 honoring 100 years of Allis Agriculture. Watch www.fallharvestdays.com for more info.

Thank you for the tip about the A/C 100 year anniversary. I will have to plan way ahead if I want to attend as I have no way to haul this thing around. I don't own a trailer and even if I did none of my vehicles are strong enough to pull it. ( I know I should have thought that through better before I bought this thing and had it hauled home for me...LOL!!)

I can't take much credit for anything as I bought it as she sits. The only thing I did was wash and wax her and paint the tires with black tire paint. All of the restoration work was done already.

I live up in Port Washington which is about 27 to 30 miles north of Milwaukee. I"m going to look into going myself, but getting the B down there is not feasable at this point in time.

Might inquire and see if anyone going has room on their trailer. I know if I were going, I wouldn't mind stopping by and giving somebody's tractor a lift to the parade.
