WD45 Crank in a WC

The WD and WC are the same engines so if I remember right yes it will but I do not know what all has to be done to make it work correctly

It will fit but we had to grind a little meat off the block on some engines so the crank would rotate. Can't use the WC flat top pistons, have to use the "Power Crater" pistons. Or you would otherwise end up with a "puller" engine requiring high test fuel and a pull start.

As long as you don't have a real early WC block. Other than that, it's a drop in deal. If you use WD45 pistons you will be fine. My WD is all WD45 othre than the block. Same engine and nearly everything interchanges.

I was waiting for someone to ask why he wanted to do it??? Must be making a puller engine or something. We put a WD-45 crank in a WD block by accident and it fit fine until we wanted to start it and that what we ended up with a very high compression engine that we could only start by pulling and then could not get it to stop running with the high compression self ignition or what ever you call it. We thought we had a jet engine and was no use at all until it had the right 4" stroke crank in it. Dealer took the wrong part back and was sorry for the mix up. WE were sorry we had to do all the extra work for practice. cleddy

It'll work just fine as long as you use WD45 (or later 226 engine) pistons. Put one in my WD and of the 4 or 5 WD engines I've had apart every single one was a 45 crank and wound up with 3 sets of M&W pistons. Use the right parts and you have WD45 rotating parts in a WC or WD block.
