CONVERT WD 45 TO 12 VOLT WITH POWER STEERING BELT ISSUE

I would like to convert a wd 45 tractor to 12 volts. the tractor also has power steering. the alternator hits the power steering belt. Has anyone done this with the PS option? Don't see an easy way to do it.

I converted mine with no problems but used a 12 volt generator just the same shape and mounting as the 6 volt was. Most people put the alternator out on the side and power steering belt runs pump above water pump. Can you post a picture to illustrate what the problem is?
