180 turbo?

Has anyone put a Turbo off a 190 XT or 200 on a 180?? Also have read to upgrade to the nozzles off the 200 injectors?

Oh yeah that really perks a 180 up! A 200 setup works great and easy to get 150 horses easy, a 180 handles it perfectly just dont over wieght it, about 8500 max

Thanks Doug it handles 4 16's just want a little more pep in its step.... can I use the 200 manifold and such and run it threw the orginial exhaust hole in the Hood ?

Yes you can, you have to turn the turbo around and make the oil lines work, but that's no big deal

That was done quite often in my area 35-40 years ago..One guy even pulled 5x14's with a turboed 180 but he was pushing the limits..

Quite a few people tractor pulled with 180's and of course they all had turbos..

Heres my 180 on alky..
