looking to convert my WC to 12v. what parts will I need to change. it is currently a 6v neg ground with dist. thanks

You will need an alternator say from a 1980 Chev pick up no power any thing no AC. A ballast resister or a true 12 volt coil. A O'Reilly's VR-1 ballast resister works well. A Radio shack 276-1661 diode and the knowledge to wire it up

OLD, will this help the slow cranking that I get in cold weather. this tractor never spins fast but when cold it is very slow even after starter rebuild and cleaning the grounds. thanks

"12 V pos ground" I hope that was a typo. If you are going with an alternator and I think you should, the battery would need to be NEG ground.
