How do you push out the wedges on the rear hubs on these tractors?

If I remember right, when I had mine you needed a special bolt to push them out.

Takes a special bolt. They are all the same from 7000, all the way through.

Do you take out the main bolts and screw a larger bolt into those holes? Is it made differently on the end?

It is a special bolt, tapered on one end.

I originally had a set of two, I guess you could use one but you would be changing it back and forth alot.

i cant remember if it takes 2 or 3 of these special bolts but what ever number it is i think you have to have them all to push the wedge out straight ok i went out to the shed it takes 3 if you use less you may bust the wedge ??? i think at 1 time we broke 1 here should be a pic of the set if i can get it to upload total legnth is 7" the turned down part is 3" -the turned end is machined to a point- the 3/4"threads are 3 1/2"long -and the bolt is very hard 6 hash marks on the head- the turned down part is turned down to 1/2" good luck
