7000 serires warning light display

My 7040 has warning light display unlike the original manual and shop manual. It has the burgundy belly and is an earlier model. The manual shows two rows of 3 each, mine has 4 rows of 2 each arrayed in a block pattern vs the individual round lights. The additional two lights are for trans filter and rear housing temp. Do any readers know why the difference? Thanks

Just a guess, but it sounds like your tractor has had some newer components swapped into it. I don"t think the light display you have was introduced until the "black belly" models came out in about 1978.

I checked the Agco parts book and showed both dashes. I think the power shifts have one more light than the directors.

I think Mike had the right answer, the lights were an original display as it is a power shift trans hence the additional warning lights, Thanks, Tom
