Today hooked up 3 bottom snap coupler plow on my d17 series 1 almost lifted it. Manual assist by my son. Took about 50lbs. More. Then it sank back down in about 3 seconds. I"m guessing the piston seals are leaking. How hard are they to fix? What else might cause it?

The hydraulic ram in mounted it the rear end. If it leaks or the connecting hose is bad it will fill the rear to an overfull condition. I f this is happening, you will have to remove the rear of the housing to gain access. LOL Bob
