The warning light does not come on, replaced bulb twice. It is a power shift. I am trying to trace wiring to sending unit. Is it located at tractor rear on trans filter? Thanks for any help.

Not sure I can help much - got a 7060, (power shift)I'm changing the right planetary. Looked at it and have yet to find the trans. pr. sending switch. The book I have isn't much help, the book says the switch is located inside the engine frame rail on the left side at the filter. That's not where mine's filter is - it is on the right rear corner of the tractor. The book says that the switch is normally closed and opens at 12psi. The wire to it is brown - white tracer, but i'm sure you already know that. I will look some more later today. My tractor could be different as it is a very early model.

Did some more looking today, might have found it. There is a pressure switch on the left side of the trans. case, up high towards the rear, tee'd in to the cooler line on the left side. Look between the trans and fuel tank. couldn't make out the wire color, it is out of reach and painted over. Ken

Thanks Grampy. I finally did figure it out. The wire connecting under platform was loose. I had it in at dealership earlier when tractor was split. Trying to find the wires were tricky since the manual called for purple wires. I found three of the color.
