bought one of those today has all new tires , mower deck,been overhauled but the man said it made a knock noise and they shut it off,Im hoping it needs the rods shemmed, but he sold it to me for 200 , so I think that was a good deal. gotta to ck starter out it doesnt seem to work hope its the starter switch.I cked the oil and antifreeze looks good.

$200 you better go back and pay for it since you stole it. Yep a knock could be many things including a problem with the starter
