500 planter

Picked up an A-C 500 corn planter over the weekend. It came with 4 extra row units, but only 2 of those have seed buckets (and only 1 good one). I was wondering what other model planters used the same seed buckets, or what other ones will fit. Hope to make a 2-row, 3-point mounted planter for my FIL from the extra row units if I can find another seed bucket. Thanks!

After doing some looking through the archives and looking at pictures, I may have something other than a 500... Row units look like they might be 72's?? Any help is appreciated.
And is there any demand for the herbicide/insecticide boxes for these? The previous owner took them off to paint. I have them, but don't intend to put them back on.

The 500 is the frame type number the units were mounted on. Allis Chalmers made many planter units but I think those are 70 series. I may be wrong and hope others reply. Ryan

A year ago I saw that exact planter go to scrap across the scale ahead of me.Picked it up with the big claw and put it on top of the pile.
