Hey fellas I have a wd45 that won"t run....About a month ago I started it and it popped right off ran for about two minutes and quit, wouldn"t re-stsrt. So I did the normal things checked and replaced plugs, points, wires and coil and I know I have good spark.I cleaned and rebuilt the carb., checked to make sure I had a good clean gas flow. Tried to start it and it started kind of hard and sounded like it was running two cylinders. What gives ?

I'm not sure if I did or not, without a manual handy ....I guess its possible. Where could I look to find the firing order and such.

Firing order is right on the side of the block. As for normal things wrong. You trouble shoot first then throw parts at them not and never the other way around.
You first off need a blue/white spark that jumps a 1/4 inch gap or more. Next you need a good steady flow of gas out the carb drain plug for a few minutes. Catch the gas so as to look for water dirt etc. Of course all that has to be there at the right time. Firing order is 1,2,4,3 by the way with the #1 being up by the radiator

She is up and running good! had to change #2 and #3 around and she fired right off. Adjusted the carb a little and nudged the distributor a bit and she smoothed right out. Old, I didn't just start throwing parts at it, initually I had a weak spark and knowing that I hadn't replaced any ignition parts for awhile I went that route, once I had good spark I noticed that the plugs were dry so I knew I wasn't getting fuel, So I cleaned and put a kit in the carb. Thanks for all your help.

Well I am old school so I fix many things with out new parts and have found by doing so I can save my self many $$ and many hours of work since a lot of times it is a very simple Duh fix

I am the same way,usually........but with so many used parts on this tractor already I decided to put some things new on her. Normally these AC's don't require a lot of tinkering I grew up with them, and they would always never fail. But when she wouldn't go I needed to ask some experts here and lo and behold.....a simple fix. This is a great source of info and I read it all the time. thanks.
