ive got a wc tractor that im haveing trouble with the starter its been converted to 12volt all the wiring is right but when i push the button in i get a clicking sound from the contact point on the starter between selinoid and starter where the brass tab is whats wrong |

| I've had one starter like that where the copper contact bolt going into the starter (in behind the push button housing) was actually broken, making very poor contact. |

| Clean all the contacts, wires, etc. Put battery on a charger, make sure tractor will turn over. Sometimes the starters will get stuck. You can also take the bolt out of the left side of the starter mount and make sure it's good and polished to be sure you have a good ground.
